No. I will only watch our hockey players and ski jumpers. For me, the Olympics have lost their peculiarity, their zest. Previously, this was the main start of the four-year period, but now I understand that there is a lot of undercover struggle there. This is no longer a sport. The sport has remained at a lower level, where there is not a lot of money, sponsors and everything else. This is a Junior sport, these are groups leading up to professionals who perform at the world level. Where there is less money and less politics.
I didn't watch the opening, but not because I didn't want to: I had things to do. I’ll probably look at the skeleton, so that I specifically turn it on and watch it - it’s not interesting, after all this policy I’m not interested.
I root for everyone, I wish everyone that all Russian athletes win and show what they are capable of, that they fight to the last. The main thing is that everyone comes to their dream.
Among skeletonists, the situation with the suspension is discussed only among those who remained, because all athletes who participate in the Olympics are preparing, they are not up to it. We are discussing how it happened, why it is unfair. Everyone has their own views, many of them coincide.
First, rooting only for Russian athletes is like driving only domestic cars, watching domestic films and eating domestic stew.
Secondly, athletes from Russia will be there. These people, like all other athletes, deserve the Olympics. Whatever flag they are flying under.
The question has been posed incorrectly - our athletes are at the Olympics, but not in the number we would like. They rightfully own the number of vacancies and licenses won to compete.
I will watch everyone who managed to break into this Olympics, despite all the obstacles and unwillingness to see Russian athletes there. I will root for everyone who takes part. In this case, I am not highlighting any names. Every athlete has all the great Russia.
I will definitely watch the opening. Each athlete has already decided for himself whether he will go to the Olympics. And those who really wanted to go were taken and banned from participating in the dream competitions of every athlete who, from childhood, goes to a section in any sport and dreams of becoming an Olympic champion by participating in the Olympics.
Of course interesting. The Olympic Games (especially the winter ones) are always a holiday. Beauty, the spirit of competition, experiences. Curling, biathlon, ski jumping, short track speed skating, figure skating are perhaps the most interesting sports spectacles, much cooler than football.
And you can always cheer for those who overcome.
Of all the Olympics, I usually watch only one sport - figure skating. Our national team has few losses there, although the stylish Stolbovoy / Klimov will be sorely missed.
Nevertheless, with the lineup of all the national teams announced for the competition, a really exciting action can be expected. So yes, I will definitely watch. Perhaps not in real time, after all, getting up at 4 am Moscow time is hard, but I will definitely revise everything in the recording.
You know, the Winter Olympics have always been more interesting to me than the Summer ones. Therefore, despite all the scandals, I will watch it. First, my professional duty obliges me. Secondly, biathlon, cross-country skiing and skating, for me, are cool and interesting in any form. Hockey, of course, this time will not be ah, but it is still worth watching. So yes, I will.
