Depends on whether you want to lose weight or gain weight.

If you are working on muscle growth , you have a fast metabolism, you are an ectomorph, then you should definitely make a choice in benefits of milk . You should not take low-fat, on the contrary, take with normal fat content so that the body gets the calories and energy it needs.

If you want to lose weight , then drink protein with water , do not add milk there, you will get extra calories, which you then have to burn.

Protein on water is also digested and absorbed faster. If you have problems with the digestive tract, it is better to choose water.

Also, if you are drinking a hydrolyzate or an isolate (whey protein), it is better to mix it with water. the manufacturer was just purifying the protein from the components that are in milk.

Many more mix protein with juice. Thus the calorie content of the drink increases (i.e. not an option for losing weight), but the taste of juice and protein can mix and get a not very pleasant mixture.

Protein in water is absorbed faster, so it is better to drink it before training. Making protein in milk increases the anabolic response of the body and the protein itself becomes more useful (considering the vitamins found in milk).
