Here are some tips for a sound, healthy sleep.

  1. An hour and a half before going to bed, experts advise you to overcome the desire to turn on the TV, check social networks or watch YouTube. Instead, read a paper book or spend time with your family. A sound and healthy sleep is guaranteed!

  2. If you are afraid of catching a cold, do not leave the window open all night in winter, but sincerely ventilate the bedroom before going to bed (15 minutes). The ideal temperature for falling asleep quickly is 18-20 degrees. Regular ventilation also helps maintain a comfortable level of humidity. This is important in winter when the batteries are on and the skin suffers from cold and dryness.

  3. For deep sleep, it is important to maintain a balance: it should be cool in the room, and warm under the covers. Therefore, while the room is being ventilated, we arrange home spa treatments for ourselves. After bathing, lie down under a blanket to preserve body warmth so you don't have to fall asleep with cold feet or wear warm pajamas and socks.

  4. For a comfortable sleep, the hormone melatonin is required, which is produced only in the dark. Its level rises in the evening. To fall asleep and not wake up all night, you need to curtain the windows. The advice is simple, but it always works.

  5. Earplugs are the best solution. If you are afraid not to hear the morning alarm clock, do not insert the earplugs very tightly - they will block out small noise, but allow you to hear the call. The main thing is to find a comfortable size and material of earplugs, and also disinfect or change them once a week.

8 hours sleep is not quite right . Sleep consists of cycles of 90 minutes or 1.5 hours. First, we immerse ourselves in a light (quick) sleep, then a deep (slow) one, after we see dreams and wake up.

That is, in order to get enough sleep and be productive, you need to get up immediately after dreams , and not in the middle of a cycle. For example, I wake up at 6:30, so I count down 90 minutes and it turns out that I need to fall asleep at 2: 00/0: 30 / 23:00.

Yes, don't be surprised at 2:00. Last summer I slept for 4.5 hours and felt quite normal.

Here are some tips to improve sleep:

  • go to bed at the same time
  • an hour before bed, open the window and start the cool
  • Do not eat or exercise 4 hours before bedtime
  • remove gadgets from your eyes 1 hour before bedtime
  • buy a sleep mask (it helps me a lot)
  • if there is noise - earplugs to the mask

You can try the existing sleep modes:

Biphasic - 4.5 hours at night and 1.5 hours during the day
Uberman - 6 times every 4 hours for 20-30 minutes
Everiman - 3 hours at night and 3x20 minutes during the day
Dimaxion - 30 minutes every 6 hours

The last one is the most extreme. I tried it, I couldn't sleep like that. The rest are good. You just need to wait for the moment when it becomes a habit and everything will be ok.
